I would never recommend any of my friends to go to Lady Fitness after the way I have been treated. I have been telling all of my friends how they lied to me about being able to freeze my account for 3 months out of the year and to not be charged. I had my baby and sent them the information they requested but was still charged during those months and they told me that I had been told wrong, they won't charge you till the end of the 3 years... but they didn't tell you that when you sign up. Why would they, they just want anyone to sign up for their money. They told me "Oh it is the easiest thing for you to get those 3 months off, some people even just sign up to take off the 3 months of summer." I have no idea why this woman would say that because when I tried to get my maternity leave for the 3 months, I had to jump through hoops to get it and you had to have a good reason. So how were these so called women getting the summer off..... ????? I told them there was a very good possibility that I would be moving and the representative told me that it would be very easy to get canceled, there aren't any cancellation fees and you only have to move 30 miles away to be eligible for that. I said that sounds great.. well now I have moved and have tried for 2 MONTHS to get canceled and all the while getting conveniently charged still for not being able to go to the gym. I found out that you actually had to move at least 55 miles away to get canceled (luckily I had), and then my husband sent them a bill showing our new address along with our contract showing we had sold our home. They rejected the contract saying it needs to be from our new home. So my husband sent them the contract to our new home, they then told us no that it still wasn't the right document. (All the while taking a full week at a time to contact us. I finally spoke with them after my husband had had enough. They said we had sent the wrong contract and I said well you guys accepted a bill so why can't we send another bill. They said we could.....well why didn't they tell my husband that weeks ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I sent them another bill with our new address and the representative told me she would push back our date in July to be billed so we wouldn't get charged again. Well another week goes by and I get another call from them saying they couldn't accept it and I asked why. They said because it didn't have my name on it.... well why did you accept the first bill then? It didn't have my name on it, they said oh well we need two new bills then.......Ok so that very day July 10th I sent two more bills specifically with my name and my husbands. They still charged me for July(even though the rep said we wouldn't ) and now they are threatening to send me to collections (I've never missed a payment by the way) by August 15th if we don't ....wait for it....pay a $72.00 cancellation fee??? Oh wait the lovely lady who signed me up a year and a half ago, the one who told me it would be so easy to cancel, the one who told me there would be NO CANCELLATION FEE, was soooo wrong!!!!
ReplyDeleteCan you tell I'm slightly upset, I loved going to work out at Lady Fitness, I enjoyed all the people who worked there. I'm so mad though at the representative who gave me false information and now I am stuck here 2 months after the fact of moving, having paid 2 additional payments to Lady Fitness (because of their incompetence) and now I owe them a cancellation fee.
I will forever tell people to stay clear of your horrible organization.
